About Kiawah Island Ocean Course
The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island is the longest course ever to host a major championship and hosted the "War by the Shore" 1991 Ryder Cup and PGA Championships in 2012 and 2021. Pete Dye designed 10 holes directly on the Atlantic Ocean, creating potentially the windiest major championship setting in the world. Wind routinely makes this the hardest scoring course in professional golf.
Betting Intelligence
Wind speed and direction is the single most impactful external factor in professional golf — track Ocean Course conditions obsessively. Morning vs. afternoon wind differential creates massive scheduling arbitrage. Long hitters are required but accuracy matters more than raw distance. SG: Off-the-Tee and SG: Approach from great distances in cross-winds test elite ballstriking like no other venue.
