About Pinehurst No. 2

Pinehurst No. 2 is Donald Ross's masterpiece and considered the finest collection of holes in American golf. After a landmark 2014 restoration by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw that removed rough and returned wiregrass native areas, the course now plays as Ross originally intended. It hosted the 2024 U.S. Open and will continue as a regular major venue.

Betting Intelligence

SG: Around-the-Green is critical — the famous "turtle back" greens repel any imprecise approach. Chipping from the native area wiregrass requires creativity. SG: Putting rewards patience as the crowned greens create impossible pin positions. A premium on fairway bunker avoidance from the tee sets up the critical second shot.
