Maxfli x Siegelman Stable: Classic Country Club Meets Streetwear

When Heritage Meets Hype
I'll admit — when golf gear crosses into lifestyle territory, I usually approach with skepticism. Too often these collaborations feel forced, like two worlds colliding without any real chemistry. But the new Maxfli x Siegelman Stable collection actually makes sense, and the timing couldn't be better.
With the 2026 U.S. Open heading to Shinnecock Hills on Long Island this week, both brands have capitalized on the moment to drop "Harness the Drive" — a limited-edition apparel and accessories collection that takes the classic country club aesthetic and runs it through a streetwear filter.
The Backstory That Gives It Credibility
What makes this collaboration feel authentic rather than opportunistic is founder Max Siegelman's actual history with the game. His first job was as a caddie, a gig he held for five years before eventually launching Siegelman Stable in 2020. That's not a manufactured marketing angle — that's someone who genuinely understands golf culture from the inside out.
"Golf has always had a strong sense of tradition, and this collection gave us the opportunity to reinterpret that through our signature Siegelman Stable designs," Siegelman said in the announcement. "Together with Maxfli, we wanted to create something that feels rooted in the game, but also expressive, unexpected and true to how people are engaging with golf today."
That last phrase is key. Golf's audience is shifting, and brands that recognize this are the ones that'll stay relevant.
What's Actually in the Collection
The "Harness the Drive" lineup keeps the color palette restrained — black, green, and white tones throughout — which gives everything a cohesive look without screaming for attention. The collection spans:
- Shirts and polos
- Jackets
- Hats
- Totes
- Headcovers
I appreciate the range here. You can go subtle with a hat or all-in with coordinated apparel. The headcovers are a nice touch too — a relatively low-commitment way to inject some personality into your bag without committing to a full wardrobe overhaul.
Why This Partnership Works
From a brand perspective, this is smart positioning for both parties. Siegelman Stable has built a following with younger consumers and has already collaborated with several New York-based sports teams, so the move into golf — especially with the national championship coming to Long Island — feels like a natural progression.
Maxfli, meanwhile, has been enjoying a genuine resurgence. Ben Griffin won multiple times with a Maxfli ball last season, and the brand counts Lexi Thompson and instructor Sean Foley among its ambassadors. Partnering with a streetwear-adjacent label helps Maxfli reach consumers who might not be scrolling through equipment reviews but will absolutely notice a limited drop from a brand they already follow.
How to Get It
The Maxfli x Siegelman Stable collection goes live on siegelmanstable.com at 10 a.m. ET on Friday. If you're in the Hamptons — which, given it's U.S. Open week, some of you might be — you can also check out the gear in person at the Walter Hagen and Maxfli pop-up in East Hampton Village (34 Park Place). That pop-up runs from Friday through June 28, or while supplies last.
Given the limited-edition nature and the U.S. Open timing, I wouldn't expect this stuff to sit around for long.
The Takeaway
This isn't performance gear that's going to shave strokes off your game. But if you're someone who cares about how you look on the course — and let's be honest, most of us do to some degree — the "Harness the Drive" collection offers a legitimate alternative to the usual country club uniform. It's elevated but playful, traditional but fresh. For a collaboration, that's about as good as it gets.
